PINNACLE
Senior UI Designer
Being the lead designer and brand guardian for all Pinnacle’s major products, I provide strategies for building and implementing solutions whilst communicating with stakeholders and management to ensure the best possible product is being offered to customers. My duties include overseeing the UI team and their work, the creation and maintenance of design systems as well as managing projects where necessary. Other duties extend to aiding the UX team with designing wireframes, conducting user testing, designing user flows, facilitating UX research studies and product discovery workshops.

DOMESTIC & GENERAL
Midweight UI Designer
My role here entailed the design of various websites, brochure pages, email campaigns, site banners, internal posters, PPC adverts, social media visuals, online registration journeys, asset preparation and video production. This also included presenting my design ideas to management, gathering feedback and bringing the ideas to fruition. During my tenure I became a brand guardian for the company; the visual communications I designed were created not only for the business but also its international offices and a variety of high-profile brands such as Sky, Sony & Jessops.

Web Designer/Front-End Developer
Here I successfully managed multiple projects for both short and long term deadlines, often simultaneously. This included designing various website concepts, emails, banners and social media imagery. I managed the company's brand identity and provided solutions to technical problems in the office. Furthermore I maintained the company's database and network of office computers.

I have applied interchangeable skills and created a variety of digital media for individuals and businesses alike. From the inception of an idea through to the finished product I have designed wireframes and user flows, conducted user testing, established brand identities, produced marketing strategies, implemented SEO techniques, built websites and overall managed the lifespan of a project.

Work Experience
As part of a work placement whilst at university, I received my inauguration of working in a professional design agency, which I enjoyed enormously. I collaborated with team members, experienced working on multiple brands and acquired an incredible insight of how a business operates and handles clients.

I completed my undergraduate course and achieved a 2nd class honours degree in Web Design & Development. Ever since, I've been striving to improve my creative craft; learning new design techniques, using data to inform decisions, gain understanding across many web-based disciplines and master new applications.

Creative, driven, highly organised and enthusiastic northerner with 10 years of experience in the design industry. Combining a passion for perfect pixel placement, a keen eye for creativity and an excitement for seamless user experience to create intelligent and compelling visual communications that people will remember.
From the initial brief through to the website launch, I provide creative insights through effective collaboration and conceptualisation to ensure the best possible product is provided. Defining brand guidelines, project prioritisation, team and stakeholder management, best practise and industry standard applications has led to providing solutions that establish a strong connection between business and user.
I also play guitar in a band and have a Staffie called Bo, she's a big softy.
